Solve the problem of acoustic short circuit

The sound of a single speaker is not ideal. Because at a certain moment, the paper cone moves forward, the air in front is compressed and the density increases, and the air density behind the paper cone must become smaller and become sparse. Therefore, the front and rear sound waves are just reversed. When the sound waves in the back are turned to the front, they will cancel out. This is called a short circuit. (That is, the phase difference is 180 degrees), especially for low frequency sound waves. Therefore, the general speaker bass effect is particularly poor.


If the speaker is placed in the speaker, the speaker board separates the sound waves before and after, or properly processes the two opposite sound waves to provide a normal path for the sound produced by the woofer, so that the low frequency sound waves radiate more effectively. Go out and get the most out of the performance of the woofer. For example, use sound absorbing materials to absorb the sound waves behind the cone to prevent it from interfering (this is the principle of closed speakers).


Or reverse the phase of the sound wave behind the paper cone so that it is in line with the front phase (the phase difference is 360 degrees) and then sent to the front, and the front sound is superimposed (this is the principle of the inverted speaker), so that It will not weaken but will increase the sound.
