June 16, 2016 - NI (National Instruments, National Instruments, Inc.) as a supplier dedicated to providing engineers and scientists with solutions to meet the world's toughest engineering challenges, today announced the release of the WLAN Measurement Suite Preemptive Trial Edition To support the IEEE 802.11ax (Draft 0.1) draft of an efficient wireless standard. The WLAN Measurement Suite combines the NI RF Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) to help engineers effectively measure the performance of 802.11ax designs after major modifications to the 802.11 physical layer standard.
The WLAN Measurement Suite provides researchers, engineers and technologists with powerful and flexible features to help generate and analyze 802.11a/b/g/n/j/p/ac/ah/af and other 802.11 waveforms. The measurement suite is updated specifically for 802.11ax, and these users will significantly accelerate the development of their 802.11ax devices. The software supports the main features of 802.11ax, including narrower subcarrier spacing, 1024-QAM and multiuser orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA). The updated measurement suite also includes LabVIEW system design software sample code to help engineers automate WLAN measurements more quickly and easily.
