On November 1, 2016, ABB, the world's leading industrial robot manufacturer, today announced the launch of the 50,000th robot manufactured in China. This robot is the ABB small robot representative product IRB 1200 developed and produced by ABB China R&D Center. It will be installed in BYD Electronics Co., Ltd. (“BYD Electronicsâ€) in Huizhou's electronics factory and will be used together with many other ABB robot products. Machining, casing polishing and assembly of mobile phone products.
