National Instruments (NaTIonal Instruments, NI) and Shanghai Jiaotong University jointly held the 2012 China Robot Competition and RoboCup Open (Shanghai Division) basketball robot competition from December 1 to 2, 2012. In the end, the Jiaolong team of Shanghai Jiaotong University won two championships, namely the innovative basketball robot project and the independent pass project. NI has always attached great importance to supporting important robot competitions in domestic schools to stimulate students' creativity and encourage the exchange and development of robot technology. In this RoboCup's first basketball robot competition, part of the competition was funded by NI, and NI will also sponsor the top three teams with the total score of the game to go to Taiwan to participate in the "2012 International Robot Practice Tournament" held at the University of Taiwan in mid-December. The programming software used by each team participating in the competition is NI LabVIEW, and the hardware is NI's Singleboard RIO product.
