A layman's lamp, made from the wind

I came to the ancient town in 2001. At that time, I was also the design director of a clothing company in Dongguan. I came to the ancient town on a business trip by chance. At that time, the ancient town, although not yet honored as the "China Lighting Capital", but the first lighting fair held in 1999, has attracted the world's lighting buyers to the ancient town, the charm of the ancient town lighting industry is booming The town government also provided many preferential policies for foreign investors, so I came up with the idea of ​​coming to the ancient town to start a business. At the beginning of 2002, Zhongshan Yaguang Lighting Co., Ltd. opened up in the ancient town (smile). At that time, we were in the design, development, production, acceptance and sales of unified system management. It is a comprehensive lighting company, specializing in the production of various wrought iron lamps, lanterns, chandeliers and other products. In the autumn of that year, the ancient town successfully held the second International Lighting Fair. Because after three years, and with the award of the "China Lighting Capital" in that year, the lighting fair was so hot that lighting buyers around the world flocked. Because our company has just been established, the financial strength is not enough, so we did not participate in the light fair that year, we can only watch the other companies earning a lot of money, and my heart is also very embarrassing.

At the same time, I also found that the companies participating in the exhibition have a lot of new products, and if they have little strength and no research and development capabilities, they will take the opportunity to go to other people's showrooms to see the lights, write down the brand, model and style of the products, and then Find a friend to buy it back for counterfeiting and produce and sell it at a lower cost. In this way, relying on imitation lights and low prices, I earned the first pot of gold from the lighting industry.

Because I am a design-born person, I attach great importance to product design and I am willing to invest. In the next two years, I invested in the development of new products. We not only hired high-paying talents to dig out outstanding designers from other companies, but even dig out the internationally renowned brand lighting designer SA.smith. The constant innovation of products has brought us to the forefront of the trend of the times. Our efforts have not been in vain. At the 2004 Light Expo, our products won the praise of the majority of lighting buyers in China, Europe, America and Southeast Asia. We have therefore continued to participate in the 2005 Light Expo.
Ignore marketing, market share is robbed

In 2005, with the strong acquisition of leading companies such as Qianli, NVC and Opp in the market, the domestic lighting market has undergone major changes.

However, by the beginning of 2006, the company's performance has shown signs of decline. At that time, I didn't care too much. I thought it might just be a moment of indifference. I didn't think that the customers I had cultivated had gone to a small factory that was not known to get the goods. After the investigation, we found that because of our blush, many manufacturers in Guzhen have followed us to do the same lanterns, and boldly called ourselves to develop. These manufacturers are now also exhibiting. They were not our opponents before. They made a fortune by copying and imitating our products, but now they are aggressively catching up with us (squatting down).
