Card printing ribbon

The card printing technology uses a dye-based ribbon roll. A roll of ribbon is composed of many color segments. It is generally composed of Y, M, and C three-strip ribbons, and thus repeats to form a roll of ribbon. During printing, hundreds of heating spots on the print head heat up the dye on the ribbon until it evaporates, and vaporized dye diffuses into the surface of the card. When Y, M, C dyes of these three colors penetrate into the card, they will show a vivid color through chemical combination. By controlling the heating intensity of the print head, we can get rich and colorful colors. Colors come in the following three types: Full Ribbon (Y/M/C), Full Ribbon + Black (Y/M/C/K), Full Ribbon + 2 Black (Y/M/C/K/K).
